Dacon maintains a Quality Management System (QMS) that complies with the requirements of ISO 9001:2008 for Quality Management and Quality System Procedures. Copies of the main manual and the procedures are controlled issue documents and are available from the company on request.
The Health and Safety Policy Manual describes Dacon Inspection Services Ltd. policies regarding health, safety and environment. Our HSE Policy has been developed to comply with regulatory, industry, and customer health and safety requirements that apply to items and services provided by Dacon. It is applied at Dacon operations worldwide and recognizes the need to comply with the equivalent national standards imposed by international Customers and Safety Authorities.
All Dacon’s inspection personnel are as a minimum trained to SNT-TC-1A Level II in categories UT, MT and PT. Inspectors specializing in other fields will have additional certifications with a focus on PCN. Dacon employs Level III senior inspectors and conducts continuous training to maintain and improve inspection personnel capabilities and al offshore inspectors have up to date Helicopter Underwater Escape Training (HUET).

OHSAS 18001 is an Occupation Health and Safety Assessment Series for health and safety management systems. It is intended to help an organizations to control occupational health and safety risks. It was devloped in response to widespread demand for a recognized standard against which to be certified and assessed.
The DNV 402B Certificate ensures that suppliers providing services such as NDT on behalf of a client use appropriate procedures, have qualified, certified personnel and written procedures for training, performance, application, control, verification and reporting.
Dacon is a full member of the Industrial Rope Access Trade Association (IRATA) which was formed in the UK in the late 1980’s, to solve maintenance problems in the offshore oil and gas industry. With over 350 member companies around the world IRATA is now recognized as the world’s leading authority on industrial rope access. IRATA’s aims include the promotion of high standards in safety, workmanship and working practices, and audits are carried out annually to ensure that members uphold their guidelines.
ABS is recognised as one of the world’s leading ship classification societies and certification with ABS is recognition of a company’s adherence to stringent standards of accuracy and quality. The certification process is composed of both practical assessments and the assessment of administrative processes and procedures.
Dacon Inspection Services is pleased to announce that they have been certified by DNV GL (Det Norske Veritas-Germanischer Lloyd) for Thickness measurements on ships , in accordance with Class Programme DNVGL-CP-0484 in Category I: Authorised to do measurements on all types and sizes of ships. Also this service will provided by inspection engineer who certified DNVGL-CP-0484. After a thorough qualification process Dacon was officially certified on July 7, 2016.
