Dacon inspection Services operate a Pipeline Test Yard of approximately 1 Rai (0.4 acres) in Dacon’s office.

The yard is designated for testing and contains tanks, pumps and calibration equipment specifically for pipeline testing purposes.

At present the following lines are available for testing purpose:

Pipeline
1.14” pipeline with artificial defects and 3D bends - 35 meter
2.16” pipeline with severe internal corrosion - 5 meter
3.16” pipeline with a ‘Y’ connection and 5D bend - 20 meter

Riser Pipe
1.14” pipeline 11.13 mm - 1 meter
2.16” pipeline 12.70 mm - 2 meter
3.20” pipeline 15.09 mm - 2 meter

Calibration Pieces
1. HDPE pipe 46”/115 mm
2. HDPE pipe 46”/110 mm
3. HDPE pipe 46”/80 mm
4.14”pipe/11.13 mm
5.16”pipe/12.70 mm
6.16”pipe/16.66 mm
7.18”pipe/19.05 mm

All test pipes have flanges and possibility for inserting spool pieces with special defects or arrangement for inspection/testing purpose.
